The New York City Health Department issued a health advisory Friday evening describing a case of clade I mpox in a person who had recently traveled to Europe. According to the advisory, this is the twelfth known clade I case reported in the U.S.
Separately, Toronto reported two travel-related cases of mpox clade Ib earlier this week.
